Need some cute quotes for our message jewelry

I am working on my new Etched Jewelry line, and one of the charms I have designed has a nice space around the edge for a h and stamped message or quote.  This charm is one of a few I have come up with.  Each charm will have a different symbol in the center, that will relate to the quote that is h and stamped around the edge.  I do plan to offer the option of names, too, of course.  But I thought it would be fun to create a bunch with meaningful quotes on them.  If you have a favorite quote you would love to see on a charm, please mention it here!  If I use your quote, you will be entered into my drawing for a free charm with your quote on it.

Our New Etched Wish Necklace – Giveaway!

I am happy to announce our new Etched Wish Necklace.  This was the first etched charm I created, using a new etching technique that we developed here at Heart On Your Wrist.  This sweet little charm is created by taking a sterling silver oval charm and adding the h and -drawn d and elion using our etching technique.  A tiny “Wish” is also etched onto the charm.  We then patina the charm and h and -polish it so the raised parts of the charm shine and contrast with the dark background.  The result is beautiful and I’m happy to offer one to a lucky winner of this giveaway!  Good luck…please see below to enter.  The winner will be announced on Sunday.

Announcing our new etched name charms

I am so excited to be launching a new line of etched charms.  These were actually the second idea I was playing around with (the first idea will be posted soon) while playing around with some new etching techniques, that I’ve been dreaming about for a couple years now.  I have a few other designs that I’m perfecting, too, so stay tuned to see more.  For now, I wanted to show you the name charms – they are kind of retro looking, black and silver, such a neat contrast and so different!  I just love them.

The names and symbols are actually raised…we take a sterling or fine silver disc and etch all around the name and symbol areas, also leaving a nice border around the names.  We then patina the whole piece and polish the raised areas so they st and out.

I was really excited to see the names come out so clearly but the symbols were an extra bonus.  I just love them!  I used our Skate Font, which is new, which gives them a vintage but retro look.
