My Favorite Things About Summer

My favorite things about summer…

1. Evenings in our yard with the kids on the trampoline while Kevin and I grill up some dinner
2. Eating outside
3. Lots and lots of impromptu play dates with kids from the neighborhood
4. Getting into work a bit later than usual, and leaving earlier than usual
5. Warm days that just beg me to get on my bike and cruise around the neighborhood
6. Outdoor movies in our yard with the kids in jammies and sleeping bags
7. Seeing family and friends at various BBQ’s
8. Vacation – this year we went to Hawaii to celebrate my parent’s 50^th wedding anniversary (we usually go to Cape Cod every year but this year we chose Hawaii…but we miss the Cape and all the cousins!)
9. The sun going down late and letting us play outside for longer
10. Playing basketball with the kids in our driveway
11. Swimming at my sister’s house
12. Flip flops
13. Beach excursions
14. More beach excursions
15. Staying up late
16. Lots of time for cards games with the kids
17. Having time to just chill and appreciate everything around me
