After years of selling our personalized jewelry online, we have opened up our studio and added a storefront. We are very excited for this new change and all the fun it has brought us so far!
We hope you will come by and visit if you are ever in the Bay Area. We have lots of items in our shop that are not on our site, so it’s a great option for last minute gifts. Come by and say hi to us all and visit with our guard pug, Max.
Each year Martha Stewart holds a competition for $10,000 ( and various other perks) for businesses who make their products in the U.S. and who encourage and work with other small companies in the U.S. They look for beautiful, inspiring and useful products. There are four key categories – crafts, design, food and our category, style!
We are proud to be a 2014 style nominee and can’t wait until voting begins on September 15! Please vote for us!
“Sisters are different flowers from the same garden.” ~Author Unknown
I am lucky to have a sister. She has always been and always will be my best friend. I don’t know if this is automatically true with all sisters (I’m guessing not) but most of the sisters I do know share a similar bond. And it’s a bond that lasts a lifetime, which is more than I can ask for.
We had these two sweet little girls come into the shop that wanted to wear matching necklaces, to tell the world they were lucky too. We decided we would create some charms that would allow two people to wear matching necklaces, but to have them just slightly different. We played around with a few ideas but then came up with these little heart cut-outs that act as puzzle pieces when put together. When two people wear these charms, they know that their necklaces ‘fit together’ so it’s like carrying a little piece of that person’s heart with you everywhere you go.
These were of course, perfect for the two sisters who came into the shop. They are now proudly wearing their matching necklaces while on their summer vacation!
Wearing these little necklaces serve as a pretty reminder that your sister is always there for you. They would also be nice as Mother-Daughter Necklaces, or they could both say BFF for two close friends. There are lots of possibilities. I just love the fine silver and how the pink pearls go with the brushed silver. The h and stamped words look so pretty under the hearts. Enjoy!
We have finally chosen the winner for our $1000 scholarship, where entrants answered the question, “What innovative ways do you see social media changing the way people buy jewelry?”
After reading through a couple hundred entries and narrowing it down to the top eleven finalists, we selected Bianca Palumbo of Melrose, MA. Bianca recently graduated from Melrose High School in Melrose, MA. We loved the energy in her essay as well as her creative ideas on how to use social media to promote a jewelry business.
Congratulations to Bianca! We are very excited for her. Thank you all for the many entries, it was an incredible experience to read so many great ideas from so many interesting kids across the country. Good luck to you all!
