New Hand Stamped Sister Necklaces

Matching Sister Necklaces
Carry My Heart Sister Necklaces

I am lucky to have a sister.  She has always been and always will be my best friend.  I don’t know if this is automatically true with all sisters (I’m guessing not) but most of the sisters I do know share a similar bond.  And it’s a bond that lasts a lifetime, which is more than I can ask for.

We had these two sweet little girls come into the shop that wanted to wear matching necklaces, to tell the world they were lucky too.  We decided we would create some charms that would allow two people to wear matching necklaces, but to have them just slightly different.  We played around with a few ideas but then came up with these little heart cut-outs that act as puzzle pieces when put together.  When two people wear these charms, they know that their necklaces ‘fit together’ so it’s like carrying a little piece of that person’s heart with you everywhere you go.

These were of course, perfect for the two sisters who came into the shop. They are now proudly wearing their matching necklaces while on their summer vacation!

H and stamped sister necklacesWearing these little necklaces serve as a pretty reminder that your sister is always there for you.  They would also be nice as Mother-Daughter Necklaces, or they could both say BFF for two close friends.  There are lots of possibilities.  I just love the fine silver and how the pink pearls go with the brushed silver.  The h and stamped words look so pretty under the hearts.  Enjoy!

Hand Stamped Teacher Gift in Pewter or Fine Silver

h and stamped teacher necklaceI just created this very cute hand stamped teacher gift using the same words I came up with years ago for another necklace we carry.

I love the sweet message “Teach, Inspire, Love” because it captures what teachers are and do, but it’s not just another apple necklace (which can be cute too, don’t get me wrong!)

For this particular charm that we handmade in our studio, we thought we would try something new by creating and offering it in fine pewter. Fine pewter is a lead-free version of traditional pewter, so it is safe to use for jewelry. It also has the look and feel of fine silver but it is less expensive than sterling or fine silver.

What do you think of this charm in pewter?

I personally love working the pewter, it has great malleability and is forgiving to an artist. It looks really nice too, and keeps the handmade feel of the fine silver.

Hand Stamped Necklace of the Month – April Moon Necklace

Hand stamped April Moon Necklace
Sculpted Tiny Moon Charm, with April birthstone

The birthstone for April is diamond.  Because diamonds are precious ( and pricey!) there are lots of other stones and materials that people use to represent them in jewelry.  When I thought about how to design our April Necklace of the Month, it was actually presented to me while putting together one of our new displays in the shop.

I needed some necklaces to fill up one of our displays so thought I would create a few on the fly.  We had just created these new hand sculpted moon charms, which are so cute, so I thought I would start with one of those.  When I put the moon on a simple chain, I immediately thought of adding our tiny little cubic zirconia stone since I knew it would sit just perfectly in the little crescent of the moon.  When I put it all together, the little stone reminded me of a star, and I just fell in love with this simple little necklace.

Birthstone NecklaceBecause we can stamp these sweet little moons, I decided to stamp the word “Dream” on the moon.  I loved the result, and am happy to present it as our April Necklace of the Month!  The chain is sterling silver, the moon is fine silver and the cubic zirconia is wrapped in sterling silver.  These moons will look adorable with names stamped on them too, so they will be added to the website soon as a personalized necklace.

Our Hand Stamped Necklace for March

H and Stamped Wish Necklace for March

It’s here!  Our necklace of the month this month features a hand molded fine silver charm with a Czech glass aquamarine birthstone briolette.  It’s one of my favorite charms, paired with a stone I just love.  Spring is always a time of hope and renewal, and our “Wish” dandelion seemed a perfect match for the spirit of spring.

My birthday month is March so I thought this would be a perfect month to start a “necklace of the month”.  I do love my birthstone, which is Aquamarine.  And this was fun – I thought, if I could wear any necklace that we haven’t already created, what would it be?  Well, I love this stone for its deep, rich color.  I also love this new charm we recently made here in our studio.  It’s so simple and small, yet very pretty.  I also love dandelions…so of course I had to add one of those.  And my two favorite words in life are Wish and Hope, since you really always have to keep the ability to do both.  Or else life just wouldn’t be as fun!

Enjoy, and check back again for next month’s April Necklace!
