SF Women’s Expo 2012

We had the opportunity to show our wares at the San Francisco Women’s Expo this past weekend.  Wow, what a fun event!  There were so many cool products for sale, there were pampering sessions with makeup and hair, famous people speaking about their lives, food and wine tastings, and very awesome people there.  Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and that made our job so fun!  We met so many nice customers and other vendors, it was a great experience.  If you missed it, make sure you see it next year!

Our New Etched Charms are Here!

Etched Circle of Love

I am so excited to finally be launching our new Etched Charms line of personalized jewelry.  This project has been in the works for quite a while, but luckily everything came together this summer and I finally had success with my vision.  I think these charms are completely unique, and I’m so excited to be offering something I’ve worked so hard on for so long!
H and stamped etched mom charms
Each of these charms is created using a multi step process that begins with prepping the name and image, etching the name and image onto the charm, s and ing it, adding a patina to it, polishing and finishing the charm.  The very last step is to brush the charm lightly so it has a slightly matte finish.  I love how each and every one of them has turned out.

Etched Name Discs

This is the style necklace I wear every day!  The area around the names and symbols on these sterling silver discs is etched away, leaving the names and symbols raised.  A really unique look, with lots of sentimental meaning.

To the Moon and Back Charm Etched

“I love you…to the moon and back” is a reminder of how deep and far your love goes for that special someone.  If your kids are like mine, you will need to add “x infinity” to the back!

Etched Flower H and Stamped Charm

These are just a few of the new designs we’ve added, there are more to come so keep checking back!

Komen Walk for a Cure with a Personalized Jewelry Twist

Getting ready!

Congratulations to Qurie and her team for walking the Susan G. Komen 60 Mile Walk For a Cure last weekend.  Qurie works here at Heart On Your Wrist, and signed up to walk the 60 miles and raise money for breast cancer research.  The walk took three days to complete – they walked in, out and through the San Francisco Bay Area.  Because we had beautiful weather, Qurie and her team got to admire the beauty of SF and soak in the sights during their long trek.  Apparently it was a bit tough (this is walking for three days straight, mind you), but her and her teammates had trained hard for this and supported each other to the end.  They all got to wear their Awareness Event Necklaces as a little extra boost of support, designed by Qurie and donated by Heart On Your Wrist!
