“Is This Handwriting Image Good Enough To Use?”

We get this question a lot.

A customer is looking to create a piece of handwriting jewelry, but she’s worried the handwriting she has isn’t good enough to use.

Often, the handwriting is on a old card or letter, where the text is faint or has faded.

Or, it might be an image where there are lines or marks, smudges or creases.

We’ve even had a number of people send images so we could make jewelry from their tattoos! (These are really fun to do.)

The short answer is: don’t worry. If you can read it, we can use it.

After many years and thousands of images, we’ve seen it all. Our expert artists have developed LOTS of tricks & techniques.

Not only can we bring out the handwriting in just about any image, we’ll painstakingly restore it to ensure sure the handwriting, and your jewelry, will come out great.

You can skip the upload (even if you didn’t lose a file)

When ordering, just reference your previous order, and we’ll use that image.

Sending Your Image to Us is Easy

You can always send your images to us after you order, either via email, text, snail mail, carrier pigeon or raven.

When we create your handwriting jewelry (or jewelry with fingerprints, handprints/footprints, artwork, etc.), we use an photo or scan of the handwriting (or whatever) that you’ve sent us.

Usually, people will upload these images as part of the ordering process.

But what if you need to order, and don’t have a photo of the handwriting with you?

What if I don’t have my image handy?

No problem. You can always send your images to us after you order, either via email, text, snail mail, carrier pigeon or raven.

If you’re not super tech savvy, no worries. Just let us know, and we will work with you to figure out the easiest way to get us your image, so we can get YOU some beautiful jewelry.

Getting Your Tattoo on a Piece of Handwriting/Artwork Jewelry

Lots of customers ask us to put one of their kiddo’s drawings on a piece of jewelry. These drawings are some of their most meaningful artwork, and they want to keep them close forever.

For some customers, their most meaningful artwork is already with them, and they want to have it on a piece of jewelry, too.

I’m talking, of course, about tattoos!

These are really fun to work on, because they’re so important to a customer, but also because they usually require a high level of care & skill.

Tattoos are often on a curved body part (e.g., an arm), so we’ve developed a few tricks to remove the distortion that can show up in an image. The result is a piece of handwriting or artwork jewelry that not only captures the beauty and meaning of the tattoo, but also looks great.
